Our Drama students took to the stage to perform their original plays

A brilliant evening in our Box Theatre as our Drama students took to the stage to perform rehearsed readings of their original plays, written as part of last year’s @nationaltheatre New Views project.

The event provided a wonderful opportunity for our students to bring their writing to life, transforming their words on the page into engaging performances in front of an audience of friends and family. It was a chance to celebrate their creativity, hard work and dedication, while sharing their original stories and ideas in a live performance setting.

The New Views project encourages young people to explore playwriting and develop their own unique voices as writers. Seeing these scripts move from the page to the stage was a fantastic way to recognise the students’ achievements and celebrate the power of original storytelling.

Well done to all our Drama students for their fantastic work, commitment and performances. We’re incredibly proud of everyone involved and loved seeing their creativity showcased in our Box Theatre. A huge thank you to the friends and family who joined us to support and celebrate their work! 🎭👏
