Experience what it’s like to train and perform as part of a creative company, with real on-stage opportunities every term. If you love performing and being a part of a show, this is your chance to shine! 

Through weekly classes within your company, you’ll work collaboratively across the term to rehearse and create an original performance piece – from plays to musical performances and an explosive dance piece. Performances take place at venues across the region, at national events as well as curtain-raisers within CAPA College Student shows in the building’s state-of-the art venues

To apply, attend a CHARGE Audition Workshop – a free evening of practical workshops led by the CAPA College faculty. Take part in performance activities designed to showcase your creativity, teamwork and potential.

Audition Workshops take place in the Autumn and Spring Terms.

Open to All Abilities

No experience required. If you’re aged 11-16 and new to performing or love being part of a show, this is your chance to shine!

Fees

CHARGE Companies are charged Termly (in-line with CAPA College Term dates) based on £18.75 per class. Free places are available for those eligible for FSM.

Dance

Have you got a passion for dance? Do you feel rhythm in your soul? Come alive on the dancefloor? Then CHARGE Dance is the place for you.

CHARGE Dance celebrates all aspects of contemporary and commercial dance – from jazz, choreography and ballet, to street and breakin’. Participants take part in contrasting workshops each week, delivered by some of the country’s most dynamic performers, to develop their skill set, creative approach and awareness of dance.

Learn new styles, hone your technique and take your skillset to the next level!

    Musical Theatre

    Hone your singing, dancing and acting abilities in one phenomenal, multi-faceted youth performance company?

    Through weekly workshops and rehearsals, CHARGE Musical Theatre explores all aspects of the West End stage from vocal technique, acting through song and devised theatre to jazz, commercial and contemporary dance. Discover a wide range of musical theatre styles, build confidence and develop your skillset with this all-singing, all-dancing programme. 

      Open to all aged 11 – 16

      Stage & Screen

      CHARGE Stage and Screen is the perfect introduction to theatre and filmmaking – both in front and behind the lens. This trailblazing youth company trains the next generation of actors, directors, scriptwriters and filmmakers.

      Whether you’re a passionate playwright, a budding actor, a whizz at Premiere Pro or simply love shooting TikToks on your phone, this is the place for you. With CAPA College graduates going on to star in Mamma Mia 2 alongside THE Meryl Streep, ITV dramas with Rob Lowe and almost every major musical in the West End, it is time to follow your dreams!
