Last month, our CHARGE Stage & Screen students took to the stage at CAST as part of the National Theatre Connections festival, performing their production of ‘Macbeth x5’
After months of rehearsals, creative development and hard work together the students delivered a powerful and energetic performance on the CAST stage, representing CHARGE with confidence, commitment and professionalism.
National Theatre Connections is one of the UK’s leading youth theatre festivals, taking part in the festival was an incredible experience for our students and a chance to showcase the talent and creativity.

Year 1 Drama Students
National Theatre Connections is the UK’s leading youth theatre festival, led by the National Theatre. Each year, ten new plays are commissioned from contemporary writers and performed by schools and youth theatre groups nationwide. The programme gives young performers the opportunity to rehearse and stage professionally written work, receive expert feedback, and perform at a regional partner theatre festival, with the possibility of progressing to perform at the National Theatre in London.
