The Application Process
Stage 1
Complete an Application Form online at www.capa.college or email admissions@capacollege.co.uk for more information.

Stage 3
Applicants will receive confirmation of whether or not they have been successful. Some applicants may be invited to the recall stage.

Stage 2
Applicants will be invited to attend an ‘Audition Day’ to watch a showcase performance, take part in a Q&A with staff, participate in practical workshops and conduct an individual interview.

Stage 4
If invited to a recall audition, applicants will return to CAPA College to present pre-prepared audition material and participate in a further interview with our team. Applicants will receive confirmation of whether or not they have been successful at the recall stage and final offers will be communicated.

What are the Minimum Entry Requirements?
Entry to CAPA College requires a minimum of 5 GCSES at Level 4 or above (including GCSE English and GCSE Maths). In exceptional cases, a student with a Level 3 in either GCSE English or GCSE Maths (but not both) may be accepted.
Arts qualifications/formal experience are not required for admission to CAPA College. Instead, applicants are evaluated based on their passion, aptitude and potential to thrive at the College.
What does an Audition Day look like?
Over a full day, you’ll watch a showcase performance by current students, meet Staff and Students in a Q&A session, take part in some fun practical workshops and have the opportunity to show your passion in a 1-2-1 interview.
Will I definitely get an audition?
All applicants to CAPA College will be invited to attend our Audition Day. We will contact applicants shortly after the admissions deadline has closed (usually end of January each year).
Do I need to prepare anything for the Audition Day?
No, you do not need to prepare anything for our Audition Day. You will take part in a range of group workshops rather than present individually.
When will I hear the results from my audition?
We won’t keep you waiting. We aim to notify all applicants within a couple of weeks of your Audition Day.
