Lorna Mackinder-Clark

Teacher of Dance

Lorna holds degree in Dance & Aerial Performance, following her studies she worked as a freelance teacher, gaining funding from Yorkshire Dance to establish Leeds’ now thriving aerial dance community. Following this Lorna gained a Masters degree in Dance Education from the Royal Academy of Dance, focusing her research into teaching methodologies which develop artistic skills in young dancers.

Lorna now works as a University Lecturer in Aerial Circus at University Centre Leeds, and teacher of Dance and Aerial Arts at CAPA College. She has over 10 years of experience teaching and judging in regional and national competitions. Lorna is also a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance with a strong dance background and eye for technical accuracy.
